MVP Development Services
MVP development services that start from a complete scope and a fixed price, agreed before any code is written. You describe the product in the Forge, see every feature it needs, and decide what goes into the first version. Then we build it batch by batch, and you follow each delivery.

Scope first, in the Forge
An MVP, or minimum viable product, is the smallest version of a product that real users can use. In the Forge it is a named first batch: the foundation and the one feature your first users come for, with the rest moved to a second phase and still priced, so nothing is forgotten.
The Forge turns a few sentences into a blueprint: the features, the user stories behind each one, the setup the product needs, and the assumptions made on your behalf. Add a feature, drop one, or move it to a second phase, and the estimate follows.
With a typical MVP development company or agency, the scope and the price come after a sales call. Here you see both first, and the blueprint stays yours, whether or not we build it.

Built batch by batch
Work ships in numbered batches. Each batch is priced in credits before it starts: 30% to start it, the rest when it is done.
Each request shows the stories behind it and the acceptance criteria it is checked against before it counts as done. Every batch is shown on a live preview, with a five-day review window.

Everything is yours at launch
At launch you own the code, the repositories, the hosting accounts and the reference documents: system map, runbook, handover notes.
From there, La Résidence can run the product, as a separate engagement, or you take it in-house with those documents. To keep one person answering for it, see Fractional CTO for Non-Technical Founders.

How pricing works
The Forge prices the blueprint itself: a fixed base for the foundation every product needs, plus each story and each capability, priced the same way for every blueprint. The estimate shows as a range in euros once you verify your email, and you send the blueprint and receive the fixed quote and delivery plan within one business day.
Something new that comes up during the build is scoped and priced as its own request, and you decide whether it goes in. Our MVP development services never bill by the hour, and the estimate never grows in the background.
MVP development for non-technical founders
You do not need to pick a stack. Describe the product as you would to a customer: the Forge asks what a senior engineer would ask in a scoping call, and each feature comes back as an outcome, such as "patients book a slot from the practice's site", not as a technical task.
When the build reaches a real decision, you get the question, the options, and what each one changes for your users. Assumptions made on your behalf are listed, so you can confirm or correct them.
From prototype to production
Many founders arrive with a vibe-coded prototype, built in Lovable, Bolt or another AI tool. It shows what the product should do; we build it as software that runs in production and keeps evolving, with monitoring and backups from day one.
Moving an app off Bubble is a rebuild of its own, scoped the same way in the Forge.
For startups: a fixed price, in weeks not months
Startup app development runs on the same model: the blueprint first, the price fixed, then the batches. A first version is a matter of weeks, not months: the first batch, the foundation and one visible feature, is on a live preview within days, and the rest ships batch by batch.
A SaaS MVP usually needs accounts, roles and subscription billing: accounts and roles are part of the foundation, and billing is a capability priced in the blueprint, so you see what it adds before you decide.
Custom software for a startup's own operations, a back office or an internal tool, is scoped the same way, with the people who will use it named in the stories.
Questions founders ask
How much does it cost to develop an MVP?
It depends on the features, and the Forge answers with your own scope: describe the product, and the blueprint prices it line by line, before any call.
How long does MVP development take?
It depends on the scope the blueprint fixes. The first batch, the foundation and one visible feature, is on a live preview within days; the rest ships batch by batch, each shown on a live preview, so a first version is a matter of weeks.
How a build runs
- You describe the product in the Forge. The blueprint lists every feature and what it needs.
- You shape the scope and the price follows it. You send the blueprint and receive the fixed quote and delivery plan within one business day.
- We build it batch by batch. Every request, choice and delivery is visible in your portal.
- At launch you get the code, the accounts and the documents. La Résidence can run it from there, as a separate engagement, or you take it over.
Who answers for it
Julien Casse, founder of ITzWorking. Shipping software since 2010: fintech in Luxembourg, then co-founder and CTO of kodehyve, from sole developer to a team of twenty.
He reads the code himself and makes the calls the model cannot. The client list is short on purpose: one named person answers for your product. Read more about the founder
